FAQS

  1. What type of wax do you use for your candles?

    • We use a coconut apricot wax, which is clean-burning and produces less soot than other types of wax. This means that it is better for your health and the environment. Coconut apricot wax also has a longer burn time than many other types of wax, which means that your candles will last longer. It has a strong scent throw, which means that your candles will fill your space with a stronger fragrance. Coconut apricot wax is a sustainable and eco-friendly option for candle-making. It is biodegradable, non-toxic, and made from natural ingredients.

  2. How long do your candles burn for?

    • Our candles burn for an average of 50 hours.

  3. How should I use your scoopable wax melts / wickless candles?

    • We recommend using the small wooden scoop that we supply with each jar to place a small amount of wax into your own wax melter, as needed. You can also place the whole glass jar right on your candle warmer for a stronger scent.

  4. What method do you use for tie-dyeing your products?

    • We use a method called ice dyeing or muck dyeing, which involves hand twisting and tying the fabric, strategically placing the dye colors, and covering the fabric with ice cubes and soda ash to allow the dye to bond to the cotton fabric. This creates a fully saturated and water-colored effect that is always unique. This is very different than what you may associate with the typical liquid dyed tie-dye.

  5. What materials do you use for your tie-dye products?

    • Our shirts, baby and toddler pajamas, tapestries, and socks are 100% soft spun cotton. Our hoodies and crewnecks are a 50/50 blend of cotton and polyester, which makes them very comfortable.

  6. How should I care for my tie-dye products?

    • Our products do not require any special care instructions. You can wash and dry them with other clothing without worrying about any colors bleeding or fading. We do recommend drying them on the cotton setting to avoid shrinkage.

  7. Do you offer custom tie-dye requests?

    • Yes, we do offer custom tie-dye requests when we are able. Feel free to ask us about creating any unique piece for you. We will be honest with you if we believe we can create it for you and if we will have the time to create it for you in a timely manner. We currently create custom tie-dye for local non-profits and other small businesses in large quantities. We also love creating custom pieces for any event you may want them for or just a custom gift for someone you love.

  8. What is your shipping policy?

    • All orders placed online are in-stock and will be shipped within 1 week. We always use USPS priority mail so your order will be delivered to you quickly.

  9. What makes your products unique?

    • We take pride in our clean, earthy toned, nature inspired, colorful, peaceful, happy vibe that we present with well-made products that we care about. Our tie-dye products are all one-of-a-kind, made with professional dyes from San Francisco, and created using a unique ice dyeing or muck dyeing process. Our candles are made with a coconut apricot wax blend and have crackling wooden wicks in matte green jars with kraft labels. We really have a strong love for everything that we make and sell. We care and want you to see that in everything that we do.

  10. Do you offer wholesale pricing?

    • Yes, we offer wholesale pricing for both our tie-dye and candles. We also offer wholesale pricing for private label candles.

  11. Can you refill used candle jars?

    • Unfortunately, we cannot refill used candle jars due to safety reasons. We suggest reusing the jars to plant flowers using our wildflower seed paper candle covers or recycling them.

  12. What is the seed paper candle cover?

    • Each candle comes with a wildflower seed paper cover with beautiful art printed on them. The seeds are snapdragon, petunia, beardtongue, daisy, thyme, poppy, catchfly, maiden pinks & chamomile. To plant these, wrap a damp paper towel around the seed paper & cover with 1/8" of soil in a pot. Wildflower seeds need 4 hours a day of direct sunlight and will grow to about 3'.
